Not only do we have apartments available with varied floor plans to fit your taste, your apartment could also have peaceful views of the water or the woods. Select apartments have finished basements and walkout lower levels and many apartments have washers and dryers.
Our property features huge units, up to 1,400 square feet, individual gas heating/central air conditioning, and 24-hour emergency maintenance.
Additionally, we have lakefront apartments with a walkout lower level, and the units featured modern kitchens with refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposals.
While we are nestled in nature and offer peace and security, our property isn’t far away from the action of the surrounding area. The Pine Knob Music Theatre, just three miles away, has live concerts all summer long. The Pine Knob Music Theatre is ranked among the top amphitheaters in the world.
Some concerts have already been announced for the summer of 2024: Primus, A Perfect Circle, Hootie and the Blowfish, Tyler Childs, ZZ Top, and more!
There are also numerous golf courses nearby, including Shepherd’s Hollow (less than 1 mile away), Heather Highlands, Pine Knob, Indian Springs Metropark, and Springfield Oaks to name a few. In addition to the lakes and ponds within Bavarian Village, in a 20-mile radius of the community, there are 20 lakes – many of which offer swimming, boating, fishing, and water skiing.
If you just need a place to relax, we have a large sundeck and outdoor swimming pool.
If you need a place to entertain guests, the clubhouse features a full kitchen, dining area, restrooms and a lounge complete with a big-screen TV. Bavarian Village on the Lake is within minutes of many recreational opportunities as well. Close by there are two ski resorts for downhill skiing, and miles of cross-country trails can be found at the numerous county and local parks.
Deer Lake Beach is just a five-minute drive from our property and is a great way to spend a summer day.
Being a Clarkston resident will also allow your children to be part of the Clarkston, MI award-winning public school system. Clarkston Community Schools is a highly regarded school district in Oakland County, Michigan. Their campuses cover a combined 418 acres and 63 square miles. They serve 7,500 students in seven elementary schools (K-5), one middle school serving grades 6-7, one junior high school for grades 8-9, and Clarkston High School, which serves students in grades 10-12. They also have an alternative high school, Renaissance High School, and an Early Childhood Center for children ages 3-5.
